Meet Jordy Hernandez

Welcome! I hope I take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Jordy Hernandez. Born and Raised from the state of New Jersey and working in the Computer Science and Information Technology Field. When I was young, my interest in technology came from the ideas of science fiction, the fascination of computers and hardware, and always looking the fascinating ideas that people could imagine, well as real world sciences from all around us. Everything in the world makes me become curious and it also makes me want to learn more to make things better for the world, from programming, and much more.

Since graduating High School, I went to Kean University where I would later obtain my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in May 2021. I’ve been very proud and had the great privilege to be the first in my family to graduate university, which as a son of an immigrant family, is something no one that my parents, my aunts, or even my uncles could ever do since they moved to the United States where they would live to seek a better life with better opportunities.

I am currently a Public Sector employee in IT as of April 2025, and on my personal time, I’ve been working on a couple of personal projects and learning new coding systems such as C, Python, and many others and have worked on many things like Aurdrino while in College. I’ve also began my plans to go into College!

On my free time, I also enjoy playing video games ranging, listening to a wide range of music, exploring new places, enjoying new cuisines, and the times down the shore during the summer. Outside of the CS and IT field, I also enjoy watching my hometown teams, the New Jersey Devils of the NHL, and the New York Red Bulls of the MLS, and I’ve even done drawings as well, ranging from concepts to regular designs as a hobby.
